Culture

I am working on a piece that will question what exactly is culture and can it be truly be defined? Even in American culture there are differences between cultures and classes in what is supposedly a classless society. My friend once said to me that I was uncultured because I had never seen Casablanca, I could have said the same thing about her seeing as though she has never seen New Jack City, a movie highly revered and referenced in my culture. I didn't say this, mainly because I do not believe that what movie you have and have not seen defines your culture.
